We have a big meeting with the HSE next week and depending on the outcome of this meeting we hope to roll out an exciting programme of work for the next year. We are planning a Leadership for Inclusion Series in partnership with our colleagues from Canada. The Leadership for Inclusion Series is for families who want something better than what the system has to offer. This unique and limited opportunity will be available to thirty family members and will involve a number of weekends over a five month period. Participants will develop lasting relationships with a community of like minded individuals. Additionally, we are also working on the publication of a collection of powerful stories of people and families connected to Leap who are utilising individualised funding towards their vision of an ordinary life. These resources will provide a strong foundation for the ever growing number of families looking for assistance from Leap towards the creation of an inclusive lifestyle for their family member.
